A unique Contemporary Art Centre!
The François Schneider Foundation is a unique institution in Europe due to its theme as well as its work to publicise and support contemporary talents.
Set in an exceptional natural landscape at the foot of the Vosges mountains in the village of Wattwiller, the François Schneider Foundation’s Contemporary Art Centre presents exhibitions and a programme of cultural events throughout the year.
Partly set up in the disused workshop of the former thermal sources, the centre is a place for art expression dedicated to the theme of water.
At the instigation of its founder, the Foundation works autonomously to foster the emergence of new talents through two distinct programmes.
Three big indoors and outdoors exhibitions take place every year on more than 2 000m², with an auditorium, a cafeteria and a library.
